Mirela Traistariu (1972 – Cluj) is a mature Romanian Pop artist
with an extensive resumee. During her artistic carrer as a painter one can
notice 3 major directions:
1. Darkness an Shadows – images that come out from a gothic world, a
mixture of sadness and nostalgia, a fascination that holds her still on this
side of the world.
2. The Impact of Reality – a theme that deals with the aggression of
the daily images reflected in media and advertisement.
3. Letters – a body of work where Mirela Traistariu assumes the
artistic freedom to reveal herself on a personal human approach.
